Digital & Technology at UAL designs, develops and delivers digital services, focused on our users and their needs, and is on an exciting journey, transitioning from a classic\' IT approach to a more digital approach to technology, investing in the people and processes enabled by digital and transforming the student and staff experience.

As Project Manager, you will get the opportunity to manage the delivery of multiple complex business and/or technology change initiatives, aligned to UAL\'s overall strategy, and working within one of our 3 Service groups: Technology, University & Corporate, or Student Experience.

You will ensure defined customer needs are met and initiatives are delivered on time and to budget, whilst working with cross functional delivery teams and key stakeholders to deliver and embed change.

You will take a service design approach within the delivery of change and to ensure the University\'s service needs are met through the continued development of product roadmaps.

Experience

  • Experience of working within large organisations to deliver full project/product life cycle change, following Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proven experience of delivering IT and business change, Matrix managing project teams, and working with operational teams to embed new services in the live environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to negotiate resources and prioritise requirements and communicate across a diverse audience.
  • Experience of prioritising workloads across multiple projects, organising time and resources effectively; creating detailed work schedules, and prioritising the activities needed to drive the project forward
  • High level, proven inter-personal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lead, motivate and inspire a Matrix team of project and operational professionals.
  • Experience of project governance, including relationship management with sponsors and influencers
