The Role:
Cumming Group are looking to recruit a
Project Manager
to join our team in the
Edinburgh
office. As part of our ongoing growth, Cumming Group is seeking a forward-thinking Project Manager in
Edinburgh
with expertise in the hotel and hospitality sectors along with Real estate. You will play a key role in expanding our portfolio, with a particular focus on the refurbishment and repositioning of existing hotels and the development new build hotel properties. We are interested in candidates who are passionate about the hospitality industry, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and possess a strong track record of project delivery
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Project Management services through pre and post contract process
To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
Work with senior members of staff to gather market testing data of key elements for the developments
To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
Provide assistance on general project management tasks such as meeting minutes, dashboard reporting, risk management etc.
Prepare and assist with the preparing and issuing tender documents, evaluations, contract documentations and reports
Prepare and assist with the production of cost reports and cost forecasting
Advising and liaising with internal project and cost control team
Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Project Manager or similar technical discipline
Working towards Chartered status
Ideally a minimum of 3+ years' experience of working in the Hospitality industry
A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
Likeable and warm personality which will fit in and become an integral part of the team
A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
Hospitality or real estate background
