Project Manager Opportunity!
Following allocation of several projects within the South West Water Framework and a growing future workload, I am looking to strengthen the Project Delivery team for this leading Contractors, with a Project Manager
You will report directly to the Snr Project Manager and your role will be to work on a single or portfolio of projects
Projects will be inclusive of the following:
- New Build Water Treatment Plants
- Upgrades to Existing Plants
- General Civils and MEICA Contracts
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Design and Project Management team through the project life cycle (Concept design - Handover).
  • Ensure that H&S management arrangements and people are in place for the duration of the project.
  • Administration of the Project Management Plan ensuring that Quality Assurance has been accommodated for in all parts.
  • Manage accountability of internal and external stakeholders in relation to programme obligations.
  • Escalate to the Snr Project Manager or QS any key project issues and risks with mitigation plans and actions.
  • Continuous improvement against contractual key performance indicators.
  • Assist in the resource profiling of the project programme & project team.
  • Supporting the Site Manager in look ahead and supply chain progress reporting
So.....what are we looking for?
Ideally, having experience in delivering Water Treatment Plants (but not a deal breaker!), you will also have the following:
  • Educated to HND/HNC
  • Electrical bias with MEICA experience, ideally within a similar sector
  • SMSTS
  • IOSH/NEBOSH preferred
