Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. Through our national network of charities, we give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
The role
We are looking for a Project Manager to help deliver the organisation's strategy for energy advice for the next 18 months.
You'll be based in the Energy policy team but most of your work will happen across the organisation in multi-disciplinary teams, working with departments like business development, operations and income generation.
The team is responsible for developing a vision and taking action to improve our energy advice service and ensuring coordinated and strategic decision-making.
In this role you'll be managing projects for coordinated and strategic decision-making whilst aligning these with broader strategic goals. You'll confidently escalate risks and prepare contingency plans.
You'll develop and maintain communication with relevant departments, fostering collaboration and effective working relationships as well as using data to contribute to long term visions for energy advice.

• Proven ability in service or advice development, working with multiple departments with effective impact and working independently

Whilst we prefer a blended approach between a local office, if one is near you, and home we're open to being flexible on location, occasionally a role may require you to be based in a certain location if that's the case it will be detailed in the advert or job description. This can be discussed in more detail during your interview.
The National Citizens Advice operates from offices in England and Wales, with 4 regional offices based in Cardiff, London, Birmingham and Leeds, therefore all successful applicants must be based within England or Wales.
