The Role:
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager on a 9 month FTC basis, to lead the delivery of complex software implementations, including our flagship cloud-based billing and CRM solutions built on the Salesforce platform. You'll be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, client relationships, and project governance to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope, and to budget.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of software implementation projects, from initiation through to go-live and post-deployment support
Develop detailed project plans, resource forecasts, and delivery schedules aligned with client expectations
Manage project governance, RAID logs, change control, and stakeholder reporting
Coordinate internal and external teams including developers, analysts, testers, and client-side stakeholders
Monitor project performance using KPIs and dashboards, driving continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and maintain momentum across workstreams
Support financial tracking and forecasting, ensuring delivery within agreed budgets
Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and retrospectives in Agile or hybrid environments
Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation journey
What You'll Need:
Proven experience managing software implementation projects, ideally within utilities, energy, or public sector
Strong understanding of Salesforce, SaaS platforms, and system integration
Skilled in project governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination
Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
Proficient in tools such as Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
Project Management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM) are highly desirable
