We are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic Projects Team (3-4 people) and manage projects from concept through to completion and delivery. This is a varied role where you will oversee R&D projects, product delivery initiatives, and provide support for demonstrations, exercises, and deployments.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with all departments to develop product breakdown structures and detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project budgets to ensure activities remain within financial constraints.
Prepare technical documentation and compliance reports as required.
Plan and coordinate project meetings to ensure effective and productive outcomes.
Essential skills and experience
Relevant and recent Project Management experience in a manufacturing arena, ideally maritime or automotive
Project Management Certification (one of the following):
PRINCE2 (Foundation or Practitioner)
PMP (Project Management Professional)
APM PMQ (Association for Project Management - Project Management Qualification)
Proven significant experience in managing projects from concept to delivery in a similar role.
Proficiency in MS Project and MS Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Desirable skills and experience
Background or experience in small vessel production.
Understanding of technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
Familiarity with 123 software.
