As a Barclays Project Manager you will be accountable for the delivery of Large-Scale Programmes within the Portfolio. You will plan, budget, and ensure quality and governance standards. You will have experience of the complexities of delivering across Business Unit with a range of different stakeholders. You will appreciate the importance of data integrity to the Bank and its clients. This is a global team, and you will be expected to work with teams in different locations.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We\xe2\x80\x99re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month, or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally can request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances. What will you be doing?

  • Managing the delivery of multiple projects as part of the Wholesale Data Programme
  • You will be leading Management of Programme Governance, Planning, Execution,Delivery, ensuring that Governance best practice, standards and guidelines are followed
  • Confidently working with teams across multiple Business Units to deliver complex change at pace
  • You will have functional liaison with Senior Stakeholders in Technology and the Business
to ensure outcomes are managed and present regular detailed progress to them
  • Leading the definition and management of the migration of adopting client data onto the Identity Service Offering
  • Managing change control, scope, and action/decision logs and Close management of Risks and Dependencies across multiple team deliveries
  • Facilitating workshops, driving decision making and prioritization
  • Ensuring delivery meets requirements and that acceptance and handover to business as usual are managed against agreed acceptance criteria and to a defined plan
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Experience of Data Migration Projects and Prior Business and Technology Project Management experience
  • Experience in managing large complex Projects
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Advanced leadership skills with evidence of managing teams across a range of disciplines, Business Units, and locations,
  • Previous work experience with Executive committees and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving mind set with ability & willingness to get into the details to find solutions
  • Ability to produce high quality presentation material using PowerPoint
