are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our expanding Projects division. This role will oversee a diverse portfolio of groundworks and event-based projects, ranging from short-term event builds to longer-term infrastructure and utility works. Acting as the central point of contact for clients, contractors, and suppliers, you will ensure all projects are delivered safely on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource management to meet client and event deadlines.
Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Oversee on-site operations with a strong focus on
health, safety, and compliance
.
Prepare and manage project quotations, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reports.
Produce
Construction Phase Plans (CPP)
and supporting documentation (e.g. CPI reports).
Ensure compliance with
CDM regulations
, managing safety and welfare across multiple contractors.
Conduct on-site checks, lead project reviews, and uphold high delivery standards.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, helping to expand the project portfolio.
Current Projects Include
Silverstone events and associated infrastructure works.
Groundworks for water utility projects, including site clearance, levelling, and maintenance.
About You
Proven experience managing projects under
CDM regulations
.
Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support other areas of the business during peak periods.
Able to work weekends and nights when required.
A strong team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
Desirable
Previous experience in
large-scale events
or
groundworks
.
Relevant health & safety qualifications (e.g.
SMSTS, NEBOSH
).
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
, covering
45 hours per week
.
Flexibility is required for major Silverstone events such as
Formula One
and
MotoGP
, where additional hours may be needed.
For these events, either an
unsociable hour's rate
will be paid, or the time can be taken back in
lieu
.
