PROJECT MANAGER LL
Responsibilities


Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical aspects of projects. Manage the development and introduction of new Projects and Engineering changes into the company. Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects. Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals. Project status reporting, budget monitoring and trend tracking. Participating in customer/ contractor meetings and resolving customer/ engineering and management project issues. Conduct and feedback from feasibility reviews with suppliers and customers into cross functional team. Manage & co-ordinate Engineering changes in line with change process. Ensure effective engineering and customer communications. Creation and monitoring of Project Engineering schedules and forecasts. Report and present status of specific project at key milestones and review stages. Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables. Facilitate understanding of customer requirements through effective internal meetings and inter-departmental communication. Contract review Manage project team. Risk Management, inc. HSE, Schedule, Quality and Financial. Approval of documentation. Raise Variation Orders to cover additional costs and schedule extensions. Single Point of Contact for project customers. Qualifications


Desirable - relevant Engineering qualification i.e., HNC/HND or above or have 5 years minimum Project Management/Support experience. Experience in Oil and Gas industry would be an advantage. A working knowledge of relevant industry specifications and legal regulations. Experience of Project Management within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment. Understand problem-solving techniques & continuous improvement tools. Excellent computer skills required with Microsoft Projects proficiency desirable. Strong organisational & good team-working skills. The ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly. Confident decision-making ability. Excellent communication skills. The ability to work within budgets and to deadlines. Ability to review & implement new procedures using correct processes. Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project team members.
