Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organised
Project Manager
to lead the planning and coordination of our renovation projects. In this role, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, manage subcontractors and a reporting employee, and ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. Day-to-day site supervision is handled by a dedicated site supervisor, allowing you to focus on overall project performance and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple renovation projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
Supervise subcontractor teams and a direct-report employee (e.g. site supervisor), providing guidance, direction, and performance oversight
Communicate regularly with site supervisors and clients to track progress, resolve issues, and manage expectations
Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and cost control to ensure smooth project delivery
Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, health & safety standards, and internal quality controls
Prepare and deliver project updates and reports to senior management
Foster a positive, collaborative working environment across all teams and subcontractors
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction or renovation
Strong team and staff management skills, with experience overseeing subcontractors and direct-report employees
Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills
Good understanding of construction workflows, budgets, and scheduling
Familiarity with UK building regulations and safety practices
Driving licence and ability to attend occasional meetings or supplier visits
