Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of various projects within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in project management methodologies. This role requires proficiency in tools such as Visio, SharePoint, Jira, and Basecamp to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals. Manage project budgets and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Utilise data analysis skills to monitor project progress and performance metrics. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to provide updates and manage expectations. Coordinate resources and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Facilitate regular meetings to assess project status and address any issues or risks. Maintain documentation using Project Server and SharePoint for transparency and accountability. Employ time management techniques to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within a relevant industry. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Visio, Basecamp, and Project Server. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly. Solid understanding of cost control principles and budget management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for informed decision-making. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational capabilities. Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
