Job Description

Claret Civil Engineering Ltd is a medium sized business in Bury St. Edmunds which operates across a range of sectors including clean water, water recycling, pipeline, industrial and major infrastructure projects. Building on our experienced multidisciplinary team, we offer turnkey Civil Engineering and construction solutions from pre-project feasibility studies to complete Civil Engineering and construction solutions, inclusive of all aspects of project and health and safety management.

This role will be working within the Anglian Water Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance comprising of Anglian Water, Clancy, Claret Civil Engineering, Public Sewer Services and Danaher & Walsh, the IMR WRA manages planned and emergency sewer, rising mains and SMART technology installation as well as maintenance and repair across the region.

Job Overview:

To deliver either larger individual or groups of smaller projects to agreed time, cost and quality, whilst ensuring business ownership through the effective management of stakeholders.

To ensure effective management and control of risk, dependencies and delivery planning.

This role will include but is not limited to:



Produce all required project definition documentation. Identify and agree project deliverables with project work stream sponsors and chairs. Continuously review project business cases to ensure delivery of benefits. Control and manage project change. Ensure escalation to Interruption to Supply Programme Manager of any project risks and issues that cannot be controlled within the project. Implement and monitor delivery against approved action plans. Create plans for key project stages. Achievement of all key milestones. Achievement of financial and non financial benefits identified in the business cases and Interruption to Supply Strategy document. Co-ordinate all members of the work stream teams, review and update as necessary. Ensure project risks and issues are identified, managed & mitigation plans are in place. Ensure robust financial management of project budgets. Co-ordinate all aspects of the project to ensure principal work streams are effectively integrated to the wider operational change programme and Business Plans. Establish key deliverables and dependencies for work streams and monitor delivery. Establish effective communications and reporting for all work streams and project stakeholders. Ensure business readiness for transition, as required. Management of Project Resources Ensure project resource requirements are identified, negotiated, agreed and deployed in an efficient & effective manner. Direct and motivate the workstream teams. Define project communication and ensure alignment to overall change communication plan. Ensure all communication is maintained effectively, supporting employee communication within the wider AWS. Provide regular progress reporting to the Programme Manager. Manage transition activities as required including: IT, Accommodation, Contractual, Process/Procedure, Employee/People, Communication

Experience:

Site/Construction Project Management: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (required)
