Hours:

Full-time (40 hrs per week), Fixed Term 9 Months

Salary:

50,000-60,000 depending on experience

Location:

Midlands, typically 3/4 days on-site at any of our Early Years settings, or Head Office location - some Hybrid work.

You are an experienced

Project Manager

who thrives on the responsibility of successfully delivering property

You have a background in small-scale,

commercial-grade construction

projects or similar, and the problem solving that goes with it. You have successfully collaborated with others to transform properties into warm, inviting, authentic, high-spec, commercial, client-facing environments.


You enjoy travel and the variety of projects it brings (3-4 days on the road per week, depending on the project). You are driven by a passion for learning and developing your skills.

What you'll be doing




On a daily basis it will be up to you to ensure the successful delivery of property improvement projects and new openings across the Storal group, meeting statutory, operational, quality and brand requirements through collaboration with our internal operations and education teams as well as our external partners such as architects, consultants and contractors.


Your main responsibilities will include;

Overseeing the execution of major property improvement projects and new site openings, ensuring they are completed within the scheduled timelines, budget constraints, and meeting the highest regulatory and quality standards. Liaising with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the alignment of goals and activities through smooth project delivery. Implementing project plans that detail project scope, objectives, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines. Proactively identifying potential project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and implementing mitigation measures. Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations across all projects to maintain a safe and compliant working environment. Regularly reviewing project statuses, including budget, timelines, and progress, and reporting to senior leadership, ensuring openness to enable timely decision-making. Creating and maintaining robust relationships with all project stakeholders, understanding their requirements, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project programme. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes, optimise resources, and streamline processes, resulting in maximised efficiency and profitability. Support the new site openings strategy through assessing feasibility of premises and demographic profile for potential sites

Relevant industry experience or experience of multi-site acquisition fit-outs An up to date enhanced DBS (registered for the update service)
