Summary
We are seeking a project manager / Office Assistant to join our dynamic team at Thomson interiors in the heart of the home improvement industry. This role is vital in supporting our operations and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients as we bring their interior dreams to life.
Responsibilities
Manage daily office operations and provide administrative support.
Handle phone calls and correspondence with professionalism.
Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records.
Assist with data entry and maintain accurate databases.
Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for various tasks.
Support the team with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
completing site visits for new jobs
completing quotes for new jobs
checking progress on jobs and organising the different trades
problem solving
ordering materials in a timely order
communicating with clients
completing job spec lists and reading designs
Qualifications & experience needed
Proven office experience with strong administrative skills.
Familiarity with microsoft word and excel
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong typing skills and ability to perform data entry accurately.
Good phone etiquette and communication skills.
Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
