We are an independent company providing end to end project management services to our high-profile retail & commercial clients across the UK, EMEA and the US with projects ranging from 250k - 5m.

We are excited to be able to offer this role due to current company growth formed through established, long-term relationships with our clients. We are now looking to recruit an additional Project Manager with experience of commercial & retail construction to work with our dynamic team.

The Role

As a project manager for us, you will report to our Senior Project Manager and be one of the team responsible for leading the construction PM process for our clients. You will brief, coordinate and monitor the output of all external team members to ensure that each project, whatever scale or level of complexity, is executed correctly, safely and that all key project stakeholders continue to view us as a key partner for future growth.

Manage the full life cycle of a project; from conception to close out.

Develop and preserve excellent relationships with client contacts, market teams and suppliers.

Maintain dashboards, schedules, meeting minutes, site audits etc.

Inform client & internal teams about project details, planning and timing.

Provide input, assign roles and tasks to external parties, collect output, present to clients and team members from conception to completion.

Track and communicate the project spend, variation control and approval.

Oversee the onsite teams including contractors and fitters at appropriate stages of the project.

Motivate all team members who are a part of the project to exceed client expectations.

Experience

We would be delighted to receive applications from individuals who have the experience of:

Managing complex projects requiring a degree of structural alterations, permitting and approvals.

Seeing projects through from conception to completion as the lead project manager, preferably as part of a Project Management Agency, General Construction company, or as a Client Representative.

Providing practical solutions to drive a project forward, adding value and exceeding the clients' expectations.

Qualifications & Training

Construction Management - HNC/HND or similar desirable

Basic AutoCAD skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office software

Full UK Driving Licence

Skills

Effective communicator with people of all levels

Motivated by deadlines and the ability to multi-task

Ability to problem solve taking the project and client's interests into consideration

Enjoys working independently as well as with a wider team

Working Expectations

Capability to travel to sites across the UK, US and EMEA

Hybrid working (60/40 Office/Home) - Commuting distance to Office in South Leicester

45k-60k salary based on experience
