IPS UK, part of Group-IPS, is a multidisciplinary industrial project management and engineering company. Acting as Owner's Representative, IPS fully integrates into the Owner's project team. IPS can provide services from initial project definition to equipment commission utilizing our 4 phases of project management. IPS looks to provide full EPCM (Engineer, Procure and Construction Management) services to the following industries: Life Sciences, Chemicals, Food and Beverages, Primary and Metals, Buildings, Data Centers, etc. across the UK.

General

Group-IPS UK is looking for a Senior Project Engineer (SPE) to join the team. This individual will need to exhibit the following characteristics:

- Flexibility to work between multiple projects

- Able to work in different industries and environments

- Self-starter able to work independently and efficiently

- Professionally interact and work with client engineering and non-engineering teams

- Create schedules, budgets, layouts, equipment lists etc.

- Create detailed engineering documents such as Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Basis of Design, etc.

- Point of contact for client, contractors, regulators, suppliers, etc. for all items related to the project scope

- Research and prepare request for quotation documentation for contractor review

- Lead technical and commercial procurement meetings

- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams

- Safety reference through all aspects of the project

- Potential for frequent travel for duration of projects throughout the UK

Job Requirements

General

- Education: Engineering - Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial

- Software knowledge: MS Office, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project a plus

- Driver's License

- Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United Kingdom for any employer

Project Engineer

- 5-10+ Years project management in industrial environment

- Responsible for projects up to $10 million in budget

- Experience in manufacturing industries such as Food & Beverage, Life Sciences and Primary.
