Project Manager Solar South West
Job Description
The Solar Project Manager will be providing project development, design, engineering and construction support for PV and solar storage projects on behalf of an expert design and construction company. The contract type will be permanent whilst being based in South/Southwest England, UK. There will be regular travel, but this will be mostly based in the UK.
The day-to-day activities of the role include:
- Supporting the Senior Solar Project Manager with existing projects in the UK
- Providing technical support to owners throughout all stages of the project
- Monitoring construction, quality control and time management of the project
- Maintaining client and project documentation, reviewing the project and producing technical reports
Experience and skills required:
- Engineering graduate (ideally electrical)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Fluent in English (French speaking in addition would be preferable)
- Knowledge of EPC and other related contracts
- Strong understanding of UK permitting for solar PV and other energy storage projects
