Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. To successfully manage and deliver projects from inception through to completion, managing and being responsible for the 6 aspects of a project - scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.

Duties:
To plan the project from the beginning of the programme to ensure the smooth running and operation of the joinery.

To deliver the project on time and within budget.

Work in partnership with the Commercial Team to ensure site install on the project is captured and buttoned up in detail at the beginning of the project and then through to successful completion within budget

Attend pre-start meetings on site, and take the project forwards from that point or before.

Manage the team's delivery schedules in order to manage customer expectations on site.

Liaise with SBJ production team, giving them adequate time to manufacture to the quality required and within the timeframes of the project.

Program work schedules using software of your choice (Microsoft project / Excel) and issue to clients, keeping internal contacts aware and up to date with project requirements and progress.

Attend design meetings on behalf of and with the CAD team to catch issues and extras through the design process.

Ensure there is a constant flow of communication to the client even when not on site so that they feel valued.

Liaise with all departments to ensure the programme is kept up to date and in line.

Ensure the smartsheet is kept up to date with progress on site and other departments keep it up to date with progress.

Monitoring the risk on the project to plan ahead of time for priorities and escalate in good time if required.

Submit RAMS & COSHH data sheets from the subcontractor.

Ensure fitting materials, access equipment, etc are in place prior to installation date if required and priced for.

Weekly site reports, so as to capture additional works and changes.

Ensure daywork sheets are properly approved and signed where there are clear extras to the project that are chargeable to SBJ.

Any issues or risks should be flagged as soon as known to ensure resources can be put to issues and planed for ahead of time.

Site measure small items if confident and capable.

Experience:
Experience in running teams and managing construction installation sites.

Basic knowledge of completing risk analysis and producing of RAMS.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 50,000.00-70,000.00 per year
