is seeking a qualified and experienced
Traffic Management Team Leader
to join our expanding team. We are currently stating our own TM division. This leadership role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring safety, profitability, growth, and exceptional service delivery for various clients in the utilities and fibre network sector.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement operational improvements to optimize processes and boost efficiency within the team, focusing on safe and efficient utility and fibre network installations.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on achieving "right first time" results for all projects.
Technical Expertise:
Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments for utility and fibre network projects, designing effective traffic management plans that minimize disruption and prioritize safety.
Clearly communicate these plans to your traffic management teams for smooth execution.
Resource Management:
Effectively plan and allocate labor, equipment, and resources to ensure successful project completion within budget for utility and fibre network installations.
Client and Stakeholder Relationships:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, partners, utility companies, and your team, fostering effective collaboration to achieve project goals.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee on-site resources, including staff and equipment, to guarantee smooth operations, adherence to safety protocols, and minimal disruption during utility and fibre network installations.
Monitor contract performance to ensure projects meet established work standards, achieve targeted goals, and comply with relevant HSA regulations.
Team Management:
Address performance or personnel issues with team members constructively, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the Traffic Management industry, preferably with a focus on utilities and fibre network projects.
Possession of relevant industry accreditations for traffic management and utilities.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to confidently interact and build rapport at all levels, including with utility companies and engineers.
Excellent organizational and planning abilities to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, ensuring minimal disruption during utility works.
Strong contract management skills with a comprehensive understanding of highways, Traffic Management regulations, Health and Safety legislation, and relevant utility regulations.
A commitment to promoting and enforcing safe working practices that comply with all statutory requirements and industry best practices for utilities and fibre network installations.
Additional Information:
Remote work is not permitted for this position.
Full-time, permanent employment opportunity.
Competitive salary starting at 38,000 per year.
