We are currently looking for a

Project Manager-Migration,

to join the Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) Client Group for a fixed

6-month

contract in

Edinburgh.



Responsibilities of the role:



As the

Project Manager-Migration

, you will:


Ensure that all projects and initiatives of up to medium levels of complexity are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as needed Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders Perform risk management to mitigate project risks Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members Use and continually develop leadership skills Perform other related duties as assigned


What we require from the candidate:



Proven working experience in project management delivering both Business and Technical change

Initiatives


Experience of leading project teams with minimal support and supervision. Experience and / or knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery practices. Ability to work effectively on multiple, concurrent or competing projects Highly competent in using planning tools and experienced in implementing and operating financial control frameworks Strong client-facing and internal communication skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor approach to different levels of stakeholders Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Strong resolution management and negotiating skills. Works effectively as part of their teams, identifies and effectively solves problems, and collaborates effectively at all times. Able to act decisively in critical situations. PRINCE2 or APM qualifications and awareness of basic accounting principles of life and pensions sufficient to be able to set context of project drivers.
