: 28,142 to 31,022 pro-rata
Holiday entitlement:
28 days per annum plus bank holidays pro rata
The contract is for 12 months initially, plus a further 2 years subject to annual performance review and continuation of funding. The following information is to help staff joining CNet to understand and appreciate the role they will have within the organisation. We have outlined the main duties and responsibilities of the post, however this document does not specify every detail.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing own workload and overseeing one or more projects.
SUPERVISION AND GUIDANCE
Responsible to CNet CEO.
RANGE OF DECISION MAKING
Routine decisions within well-defined guidelines.
PRIME OBJECTIVES OF THE POST
Co-ordinate and manage delivery of 1 or more community development/engagement projects
Identify and encourage people to become involved in projects and opportunities within their communities
Work with VCSE partners and organisations to facilitate a range of engagement activities
Build relationships with people who are active in their community
Enable and encourage community activity using a community development approach
DUTIES
Project Management
Develop effective communication channels between individuals, groups, organisations, partners and public sector colleagues
Develop project delivery plans
Collate monitoring information and produce reports as required
Prepare and submit reports to the CNet Board in respect of the project performance and budget
Encouraging Participation
Attend meetings, prepare verbal and written reports and presentations as required
Source training for volunteers and project staff
Arrange and facilitate meetings, events, workshops and consultations
Encourage the use of a range of consultation methods and creative feedback mechanisms when required
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ASSETS, MATERIALS
Responsible for all equipment and materials
Responsible for confidentiality of client, group and project records
Organisational duties
To work as a member of the CNet team, including attending regular team meetings
Assist with the planning and organisation of events, publicity, recruitment and other duties as and when required
Support the CEO and other staff when required
