Job Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Officer to oversee and coordinate various projects within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring project delivery aligns with organisational goals, maintaining high standards of quality, timeliness, and budget management. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership and communication skills to contribute to complex projects across multiple departments, utilising advanced project management tools and methodologies.

Duties



Lead and supervise project teams, ensuring clear delegation of tasks and responsibilities. Gather and analyse project requirements, translating them into actionable plans. Utilise project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, and Smartsheet to plan, monitor, and report on project progress. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues impacting project timelines or quality, implementing effective solutions. Manage project budgets, control costs, and optimise resource utilisation to ensure financial efficiency. Coordinate with stakeholders using communication tools like SharePoint, Confluence, Workday, and ServiceNow to facilitate seamless information flow. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management using Visio and other presentation tools. Apply various project management methodologies including Waterfall, SAFe, and Agile frameworks to suit project needs. Oversee content management systems and utilise data analysis skills for performance tracking and decision-making. Ensure compliance with organisational standards and industry best practices throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

Experience



Proven supervising experience in a project environment with demonstrated team management capabilities. Strong background in requirements gathering, risk assessment, and root cause analysis. Extensive experience with ERP systems such as Workday or Salesforce is desirable. Proficiency in using project management software including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Demonstrated leadership qualities with effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels. Familiarity with content management systems and data analysis tools such as SAS is advantageous. Knowledge of product development processes and product management principles is a plus. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 24,420.00-42,728.24 per year
