An exciting opportunity has arisen to develop your project skills and lead on a Stroke improvement project for the South East London (SEL) Integrated Stroke Delivery Network (ISDN). The SEL ISDN sits within the London network which has links into the national network.
The successful post holder will lead on the existing SEL SSNAP project aimed at improving the flow of on patients through the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) and ensure maximum capture of data throughout the stroke pathway. They will link in with other Stroke Services in London and Nationally.
The role will support stroke services within SEL to develop and integrate change, improve their ability to use SSNAP data to support long-term development.
The post holder will work alongside the SEL Rehab Lead for Stroke and all parts of the Stroke Pathway from to achieve the project objectives and support innovation and change within stroke services in SEL.
Lead a project that will support the ongoing quality control of data through the mandated national clinical audit, SSNAP (Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme) for all inpatient and community stroke services across South-East London (SEL). The post holder will play a supporting role championing evidence-based quality improvement using SSNAP data in projects across the sector, providing consultation and support on data use and advanced data analysis.

Deliver a project that ensures a high standard of data inputting through SSNAP across the SEL sector.
Have oversight of whole pathway via SSNAP, supporting transition of cases through the webtool, troubleshooting issues raised by teams.
To identify, consult and collaborate with organisational stakeholders to consult on quality improvement and service development across the sector.
Partnership working with key stakeholders/ departments e.g. Volunteer Services, HR.
Represent SEL in the regional SSNAP group.
Develop the methods for complex and individualised data collection and analysis Manage and measure the delivery of the initiatives for a minimum of 12 months through regular reporting.
To provide evidence based advice and guidance to the project team via regular benchmarking and audit.
To provide regular communication and updates to the project team and senior managers.
To act as a representative for the organisation taking part in external promotional activities as appropriate, and in professional relationships and collaborative working.
To act as a resource to staff regarding all aspects of SSNAP.
Management and reporting of the project budget forecasted and actual spend.
