We are now looking for a P6 Planner to join our team based at our head office in Elsenham, Bishops Stortford.

The Role: Project Planner

As a P6 Planner, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects by creating and managing construction programmes. You will collaborate closely with project delivery teams and stakeholders, ensuring programmes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed, robust project plans in collaboration with the delivery team. Create accurate and timely construction programmes using P6 and other planning tools. Prioritise Health & Safety and environmental considerations in all planning activity. Assimilate technical and scope-related information to communicate clearly across teams. Define methods and outputs in consultation with estimators and the wider delivery team. Support estimators with justified schedules of temporary works and indirect costs. Contribute to written submission materials for bids and tenders. Attend project handover meetings to ensure a thorough understanding of project scope and execution plans.

About You

You thrive in dynamic environments with complex operational challenges and bring strong commercial awareness, stakeholder communication skills, and technical planning expertise.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Previous experience in a construction planning role (essential). Proficiency in Primavera P6, with working knowledge of Powerproject and Microsoft Project. A strong understanding of project planning principles, including critical path, dependencies, and milestones. Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
