Key Job Function:



The Project Planner is responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules to ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget constraints. This role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to plan resources, forecast timelines, and manage progress. The Project Planner plays a key role in identifying risks, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that project milestones are met according to organizational objectives and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). Collaborate with project managers and teams to define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Monitor progress and update schedules based on project changes, progress reports, and resource availability. Identify critical paths, dependencies, and potential delays; recommend corrective actions or mitigation strategies. Generate regular progress reports, performance dashboards, and variance analyses for management and clients. Preparation of Impact programs and associated Impact Statements inline with contract requirements. Support project budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation planning. Facilitate project meetings focused on schedule performance and forecasting. Ensure all planning documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with company and client standards. Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, templates, and tools.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in project planning, scheduling, or project controls. Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project). Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Knowledge of Contracts (NEC3 / 4, JCT, or similar). Ability to interpret technical drawings, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project documentation.

Preferred Skills



Experience in construction, engineering, EV, or infrastructure projects.

Work Environment



Office-based role with regular interaction with on-site project teams and clients. May require occasional travel to project sites or coordination meetings.
Fast-paced environment requiring proactive problem-solving and adaptability.
