The role
We seek a
Project Planning and Scheduling Manager
to work in our busy Bideford Head office to plan and schedule work for our project teams all over the South of England.
Reporting to the Customer Director you will take responsibility for:
Allocating work to individual project teams based on location and skills fit
Communicating directly with our customers and our internal project managers to book in work
Liaising with project managers to monitor progress of our live insulation projects mobilising any additional support to meet scheduled deadlines
Keeping scheduled dates on our internal systems up to date
Reporting on productivity and calculating project value on an ongoing basis each month
Booking snagging work, scaffolding and coordinating with our warehouse where supplies are required
Generally assisting the Customer Team on a reactive basis
About you
The successful candidate will have:
Prior experience of complex project planning and scheduling either in building and construction or home installation/delivery
Prior customer communications work experience including both written and verbal communications
Excellent and confident communication skills- verbal and written with at least a level 5 English GCSE
Strong IT skills including Excel
Excellent numeracy
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high levels of accuracy
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadlines driven environment and remain calm and kind under pressure
An interest in the environment and being part of a company taking practical positive action on climate change
