Job Title: Project Specification Manager (Rockfon) \xe2\x80\x93 Ireland

Location: We are seeking a Project Specification Manager to join our commercial team within Rockfon in Ireland. This position is field-based and will be covering both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Your Future Team:

Reporting into the National Sales Manager (IRE & NI), you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that Rockfon products and systems are products of choice within the Irish construction market.

What you will be doing:

  • Building and maintaining sustainable working relationships with clients in keeping with ROCKWOOL Group\xe2\x80\x99s core values.
  • Planning and prioritising personal technical sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs, sales and profitability via the CRM database RockConnect.
  • Planning and managing personal business portfolio.
  • Working collaboratively with Area Sales Managers and Technical teams.
  • Providing information, literature and samples of Rockfon products.
  • Presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Delivering CPD\xe2\x80\x99s to customers as required to gain understanding and support for Rockfon products.
  • Sharing knowledge and information of newly identified opportunities within the commercial team to develop profitable business.
  • Responding to and following up sales and technical enquiries.
  • Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities.
  • Maintaining a pipeline of ongoing projects via the CRM system RockConnect.
What you bring:
  • Proven track record providing support to commercial activity within the building/construction industry.
  • Previous experience in Specification selling.
  • Good working knowledge of current building regulations.
  • IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages and CRM Systems.
  • Capable of understanding Technical Drawings.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Independently takes action to realise opportunities for selling products/services.
  • Effective and persuasive communicator.
  • Effective planner and organiser.
