Role Overview:

Onshore Technical is seeking a qualified

Site Project Supervisor

to oversee day-to-day construction activities on a high-profile gas infrastructure project in Southampton. The successful candidate will support the delivery of EC&I work packages, ensure site safety and compliance, and liaise with key stakeholders including the Principal Contractor, subcontractors, and the client.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Principal Contractor duties and day-to-day site operations. Coordinate with subcontractors, managing construction progress and site logistics. Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards. Review and manage Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Permit systems. Support audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and closeout of all identified actions. Ensure welfare facilities are in place and maintained to appropriate standards. Liaise with the client and subcontractors, attending site meetings as required. Communicate safety alerts and engineering updates to relevant parties. Support TWS checks and temporary works compliance. Ensure subcontractor compliance with framework and quality procedures.

Essential Experience & Skills:

Proven experience in project/site supervision or management within gas or engineering sectors. Familiarity with EC&I or civils installation activities on UK energy infrastructure. Strong understanding of HSE systems, audits, and permit control. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to identify and resolve buildability or design issues.

Required Qualifications:

SSSTS or equivalent CSCS Card SHEA Gas Temporary Works Supervisor First Aid (3-day) SCO/91 (Desirable)
