Location: Early Years Offices at Southmead Children's Centre (with hybrid working)
Bristol City Council's Early Years team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Support Officer to join our dynamic service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects that make a real difference for children and families across Bristol.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining time at our office base in Southmead Children's Centre with the flexibility to work from home. This balance ensures collaboration with colleagues while supporting your work-life needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality administrative and project support to Early Years project leads.
Prepare reports, updates, and project documentation to ensure progress against targets and deadlines.
Assist with quality assurance processes and maintain accurate records.
Work sensitively in change situations, managing conflicts of interest professionally.
Coordinate meetings, materials, and communications across multiple stakeholders.
Experience and Skills
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
Understanding of the Early Years sector and its challenges.
Experience in project support or administration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
