About the Role




We are looking to recruit a Project Building Surveyor to join the team and be responsible for:




Providing a comprehensive surveying service for the councils property/building assets to ensure they are complaint. The specification and management of works to ensure all homes offered for letting meet the council's lettable standard. Minimising voids times, rental loss and waiting times for new tenants by managing the specification and delivery of works to empty homes efficiently. To monitor the progress of works and ensure all works are carried out safely, to the required standard and timescale.



About You




The successful candidate will have:




Experience and enjoy working at a fast pace on different, varied, and interesting projects related to council properties and asset management works. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload within agreed targets. The ability to build effective working relationships. Knowledge of building construction and all relevant health and safety requirements/legislation.
