A really exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, flexible individual to work within the Project Management and Data Analytics division in the Department of Social Services and Housing.
We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, energy, adaptability, and strong organisational skills to make a meaningful impact in supporting the delivery of key projects and programmes. This role will be aligned with key projects aimed at achieving financial savings and supporting major initiatives in the directorate's business plan.
You will be responsible for:
Co-ordinating and supporting key projects aligned with the Council's Corporate Strategy, and directorate goals, ensuring sustainable change and successful delivery of programme objectives.
Collaborating with teams across the department promoting digital technologies and innovative solutions to drive the council's transformation journey and help become more efficient, effective and resilient.
Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, ensuring successful delivery within scope, on time, and within budget. Support the preparation of project documentation for reporting, monitoring, and evaluation purposes.
Conducting research and analysis to track project progress, identify emerging issues, and report on milestones, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives.
