Who are we?



We are a leading youth homelessness charity based in the Southwest, working with over 1,500 young people. What you will be doing:



By being empathetic and truly understanding the needs of homeless young people, young people leaving care, and the barriers they face, you will develop individual support plans and provide 1-2-1 support for a small caseload to achieve independence. Using your knowledge and creativity, you will help young people maximise their income and manage their rent accounts, including addressing any arrears, reinforcing a positive rent culture. Through your enthusiasm, you will be able to work on your own initiative but also alongside your team, ensuring a safe and thriving home environment for young people. By being well organised, efficient, and effective you will undertake a host of housing management tasks, including preparing properties for letting, supporting young people in entering and leaving our service and Health and safety checks to ensure the safety of young people, colleagues and the project. Using your organisation and IT skills, you will ensure a variety or records are kept up to date. By being flexible, you will work to a set rota, including evenings and weekends. Using your skills and knowledge of Supported Accommodation Regulations to support Care Experienced young people


You will be in the Charles England House team and your line manager will be the Charles England House Team Leader.

28,142 - 29,540 (pro rata based on 0.9 FTE)

You will be based in Charles England House in Patchway, South Gloucestershire. There is free parking at the scheme and great access to the M5.
