Job Description

New Era North West Ltd is looking for a compassionate Project Worker to support individuals and communities to improve their physical and mental health, emotional wellbeing, and resilience.

This role focuses on delivering person-centred emotional and wellbeing support, alongside practical guidance, to help people build confidence, reduce isolation, and make positive changes in their lives.

Our work supports people to improve their mental health and wellbeing, particularly where social and economic challenges create barriers to good mental health. Scope of work



To deliver compassionate, person-centred health and wellbeing support to individuals and communities, with a focus on improving emotional resilience, confidence, and overall wellbeing. The role combines practical assistance with emotional support, empowering people to overcome barriers and build sustainable, fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:



Direct Support



Provide one-to-one and group-based health and wellbeing support to individuals experiencing emotional distress, low wellbeing, or social isolation.

Deliver strengths-based, trauma-informed support tailored to individual needs.

Wellbeing Interventions



Facilitate wellbeing activities, workshops, and peer support groups that promote mental health, self-care, and resilience.

Encourage engagement and participation in community-based wellbeing opportunities.

Practical Assistance



Where appropriate, support service users to access practical help such as benefits advice, housing support, healthcare, and other essential services that can positively impact wellbeing.

Assist individuals in navigating complex systems and reducing practical barriers.

Advocacy



Advocate on behalf of service users when engaging with statutory services, local authorities, and partner organisations.

Ensure service users' voices are heard and their rights upheld.

Case Management & Monitoring



Manage a caseload effectively, including assessment, goal setting, support planning, and review.

Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in line with GDPR and organisational policies.

Community & Partnership Working



Build and maintain positive relationships with community groups, referral partners, and local networks.

Promote the service and contribute to outreach and engagement activities.

Safeguarding



Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns involving adults and children.

Always follow organisational safeguarding policies and procedures.

Pay: 26,910.18 per year

Expected hours: 15 per week
