Project Worker - Kick the Dust | 8656 | Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2027 | 29.6 hours per week | 27,711 to 30,060 per annum pro rata (Scale F) | Bridewell Museum, Norwich
Do you have experience of working with young people to plan or deliver activities in the museums, arts or cultural sectors?
Norfolk Museums Service wishes to appoint a dynamic Project Worker to join the Kick the Dust team. This role is part of the county wide youth engagement programme, based two days per week in Norwich and two days per week supporting the work of the Gressenhall Environment Hub.
The project worker will facilitate impactful and sustained engagement with young people aged 13-25 years, including those most hard to reach. This will involve working in partnership with YMCA Norfolk, Norfolk Libraries and Information Service, schools, colleges, universities, and other organisations looking to engage young people with creative heritage and environmental activities.
The role will involve some travel to Norfolk Museums Service venues across the county.
This post is funded by Arts Council England and will initially run until 31 March 2027.
