The Property Administrator plays a crucial role in the efficient management of property operations. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, tenant communication, and support for property management activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude to enhance tenant satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the property.
Duties
Perform accurate data entry for tenant records, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
Manage office operations, including filing, correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with tenants and vendors.
Assist in upselling available services or amenities to current tenants to enhance their living experience.
Utilise Yardi software for property management tasks, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.
Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Prepare reports on occupancy rates, tenant feedback, and other relevant metrics as required.
Support the Property Manager in day-to-day operations and special projects as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within property management or a related field.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using office software applications; experience with Yardi is highly desirable.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with tenants and team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
