West Berkshire Council is seeking a dedicated Property Asset Officer to join our Finance and Property Service team, based at our Newbury Offices. This role requires broad real estate knowledge to contribute to the Asset challenge / Accommodation Review, strategy and delivery.
Role Overview:
As a Property Asset Officer, you will be working closely with project colleagues in our transformation team who are looking to optimise our asset base.
We're looking for someone with:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A proactive attitude and ability to work independently
Relevant qualification and experience in property asset management
Please note this role is fixed term for a year after start date - Funding limited project

You will also be entitled to a generous annual leave entitlement starting at 29 days per annum (plus public holidays) Rising by an additional 5 days after 5 years' service.
