Job Purpose
The Property Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cleaning and property management functions. Supporting the Ground Team and Operations, this role combines hands-on cleaning tasks with administrative and operational responsibilities to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and customer satisfaction.
This position is ideal for someone with a methodical and detail-oriented approach, who excels at maintaining systems, processes, and compliance while fostering positive relationships with cleaners and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.Key Results/Responsibilities
Cleaning Operations:
Accurately prepare linen bags, count and store linen, and ensure properties are stocked and ready for guests.
Accurately prepare consumable bags, count and store consumable items, and ensure properties are stocked and ready for guests.
Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly to maximise their lifespan and effectiveness.
Auditing and Quality Control:
Conduct regular audits of cleans to ensure they meet company standards and achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
Provide constructive feedback to contract cleaners, fostering positive relationships and motivating them to deliver their best work.
Collaborate with cleaning teams to achieve target audit scores and maintain high levels of professionalism.
Administrative and Operational Support:
Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as coordinating schedules, monitoring inventory, and supporting office operations as needed.
Use company systems to promptly report issues and ensure they are resolved within specified timeframes.
Ensure Health & Safety compliance by staying updated with regulations and company requirements.
Stock and Equipment Management:
Manage and organise the storage unit, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimising loss.
Assist with the maintenance and preparation of cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure operational efficiency.
Customer Service:
Deliver exceptional customer service when interacting with guests, ensuring a seamless experience and professional representation of the company.
Support the Ground Team in resolving customer issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in cleaning, auditing, and stock management tasks to ensure high standards and accuracy.
Organisational Skills: Strong ability to coordinate schedules, monitor inventory, and maintain an organised storage unit.
Relationship Building: Capable of fostering positive relationships with contract cleaners through constructive feedback and support.
Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledgeable about regulations and committed to compliance.
Reporting and Documentation: Proficient in using company systems to report issues accurately and within deadlines.
Driving License and Vehicle: Possess a valid driving license and reliable vehicle for transportation between properties.
Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
Adaptability: Flexible in undertaking cleaning, administrative, and operational tasks as required.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in property cleaning and quality control.
Familiarity with short-term rental or hospitality operations.
Proven ability to improve and streamline systems and processes.
