The Role
Property Inspection Operatives have diverse roles at YPP, so workloads vary from day to day. Our work consists mainly of conducting regular room inspections and minor property maintenance repairs.
We are looking for an individual experienced in general property repairs and reactive maintenance to join our team, servicing all our properties across many regions. Although this role is a non driving position, the successful candidate will be expected to travel to sites across the North of England, to carry out inspections and resolve maintenance issues, whilst demonstrating excellent customer service skills, so that every one of our tenants receives a high-quality service.
Key Tasks
? Arranging and carrying out daily inspections of occupied properties and reporting on relevant IT software
? Carrying out all duties with due regard for safe working practices, Health and Safety Regulations and COSHH and at all times safeguarding yourself, our tenants, staff and members of the public.
? Assessing problems that require professional attention and reporting back to management.
? Carrying out minor electrical maintenance, such as bulb replacement and changing plugs.
? Maintaining a clean site, including removal of litter and graffiti when found.
? Ensuring that all tools and equipment are maintained in safe working order and used in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
Essential Skills
? Experience in property inspections.
?Good working knowledge of IT
? Painting and decorating skills
? Result oriented and ability to take ownership of responsibility.
