Job Description

Specialist practice based in Watford is seeking a Property Litigation Paralegal/ Legal Assistant. Previous experience in dealing with property litigation/ conveyancing matters is essential. This firm is not only looking for a quality candidate with excellent experience, but is also eager on finding a good 'personality fit' and a candidate with good commercial awareness, natural drive and enthusiasm.

THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE:

Opening new files. Carrying out research to include analysis of residential leases and transfers and Title registers. Replying to Client Enquiries and providing updates to Clients. Preparing Land Registry Registration Forms. Preparing internal completion and financial statements. Reviewing Planning Applications. Drafting CPR compliant Letters of Claim. Dealing with new enquiries and incoming calls.

REQUIREMENTS

You will have previous experience in dealing with property litigation or residential conveyancing matters. Good knowledge of the CPR rules and the Pre-Action Protocols Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills Effective teamwork, time management and a proven understanding of confidentiality. Previous experience of using a Case Management System preferably Proclaim. Desire and hunger to learn and progress as the firm progresses.
Salary on offer is 25,000

+
