To support our service expansion and increasing clientele, we are actively recruiting for an energetic and driven Property Litigation Solicitor to join our growing property litigation team. This opportunity will be based either in our vibrant Hove or Mayfair offices and will offer an exceptional platform for a newly-qualified solicitor, or one with up to 4 years' PQE who is eager to advance their career.
Our Property Litigation Solicitor will take an active role in amplifying the firm's business development efforts through networking engagements and written contributions. They will forge meaningful collaborations with business owners, portfolio landlords and high-profile corporations and play a pivotal role in growing our clientele in both London and Sussex.
The responsibilities for this role encompass managing your own caseload, with support from the wider team. Our property litigation team deals with a variety of disputes and this role will offer the opportunity to work on a wide range of property litigation, including landlord, tenant and leaseholder disputes; boundary, party wall and easement disputes; possession claims; forfeiture, dilapidations and breaches of covenant, and meeting with clients to take instructions.
You'll be trusted with:

The ideal candidate will:
Have experience advising on and managing a broad range of property-related disputes, including landlord and tenant matters (residential and commercial), possession claims and lease disputes.
Demonstrate a client-focused approach with a strong understanding of the legal and commercial drivers impacting property owners, developers, landlords, and tenants.
Understand how to pro-actively manage client expectations and work with the team around you to achieve realistic and timely results.
Possess exceptional client-handling and negotiation skills, robust verbal and written communication abilities, and a commitment to establishing strong client relationships.
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach to business development while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
Display sound judgment in contentious scenarios and able to find solutions for clients.
Have meticulous attention to detail, alongside exceptional organisational skills.
Manage files well to meet deadlines, adhere to established precedents and make full use of the firm's case management system
All candidates must be qualified to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales with experience in property litigation and have the right to live and work here.
