We are looking for a reliable and skilled

Mobile Building Maintenance Worker

to carry out general maintenance tasks across multiple sites in and around

Birmingham

. This hands-on role involves travel between locations, so you must have your

own vehicle and tools

. If you're experienced in general repairs like plumbing, painting, and carpentry--and enjoy a varied workday--this could be a great fit.

Main Duties

Carry out general maintenance and repairs at different buildings around Birmingham. Fix basic plumbing issues such as leaks and blockages. Complete painting, decorating, and wall repairs. Perform basic carpentry tasks (e.g. door adjustments, shelving, minor installations). Respond to maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner. Keep tools and work areas clean and organized. Communicate with site staff and managers as needed.

Requirements

Experience in general building maintenance (plumbing, painting, carpentry, etc.).

Own car and tools

are required for travel and work at multiple locations. Friendly and professional attitude with good communication skills. Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance roles preferred. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders. Ability to work independently, demonstrating logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
