This role is vital to ensuring the seamless flow of operations within the business managing a variety of tasks while actively identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance collaboration with third parties, systems and internal teams.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a commercially minded Property Maintenance Technician to deliver high quality maintenance across our managed property portfolio.
This is a hands-on role with a commercial edge - you'll complete and manage chargeable work, helping to grow the profitability of our maintenance services.
What you'll do:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to a high standard across the portfolio of properties.
Identify and deliver chargeable works, ensuring accurate costing and invoicing.
Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally, often remotely, when on-call.
Manage materials, tools, and third-party trades efficiently.
Maintain health and safety standards and promote preventative maintenance.
What we're looking for:
Proven hands-on maintenance experience (property, facilities, or trade background).
Practical skills in general building, plumbing, electrical, or joinery work.
Commercial awareness and confidence managing billable work.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Competency in using technology, including CRMs, web-based management software, and various smartphone applications.
Full UK driving licence.
Based in or around the Bournemouth & Poole area, willing to travel to properties within the Dorset and Hampshire regions as required.
