We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, including knowledge of landlord-tenant law, fair housing regulations, and experience with various property management software such as Landlord Vision. This role requires excellent customer service skills, conflict management abilities, and a proactive approach to property maintenance and leasing.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications.
Maintain positive relationships with tenants by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Ensure properties are well-maintained by coordinating repairs and maintenance through effective facilities management.
Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess condition and identify necessary improvements.
Prepare and manage budgets for property operations, including overseeing expenditures related to maintenance and repairs.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
Utilize property management software for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
Uphold fair housing regulations while promoting an inclusive community environment.
Implement upselling strategies to enhance tenant retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in property management or a related field.
Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, and fair housing regulations.
Proficiency in property management software such as Landlord Vision is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
Strong negotiation skills with experience in contract management.
Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to real estate is a plus.
Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining organized records.
Previous experience in facilities management or property maintenance is advantageous.
Strong office experience with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
