The Role
We're looking for a proactive and organised
Property Assistant Manager
to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that combines
administrative tasks, property management, and light maintenance work
. You'll play a vital part in ensuring our properties are ready for occupancy, well-maintained, and welcoming for tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day property management and administrative duties.
Coordinate and prepare properties for new tenants -- including furnishing and inspections.
Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs, completing relevant documentation and inventories.
Liaise with contractors and maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and property upkeep.
Carry out light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, tightening fittings, basic touch-ups).
Conduct property inspections and report any damages or maintenance issues.
Handle removals or clear belongings left behind by previous tenants.
Maintain accurate records of property conditions, maintenance requests, and tenant changes.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Previous experience in property management, housing, facilities, or a similar administrative role.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
Confident communicator -- able to liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and management.
Practical, hands-on approach with basic maintenance ability.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between properties.
Strong experience in use of Microsoft Office
Desirable:
Experience in social or supported housing environments.
Knowledge of housing regulations and health & safety standards.
Familiarity with property management systems or CRM software.
To be able to work independently
