A well-established property company in North Leeds is looking for an experienced and confident Property Manager to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is proactive, well-organised, and customer-focused, with a genuine interest in residential property management.
Role Overview
The Property Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring high standards of service for both landlords and tenants. You'll be the main point of contact throughout the tenancy lifecycle, handling maintenance, inspections, compliance, and end-of-tenancy processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties in the North Leeds area
Liaise with landlords and tenants regarding maintenance, tenancy queries, and compliance
Organise and oversee repairs, working closely with trusted contractors
Conduct routine property inspections and ensure compliance with current legislation
Handle deposit returns and disputes in line with tenancy agreements
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
Support the lettings team in coordinating move-ins and move-outs
Candidate Requirements
Experience in a property management or lettings role
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident problem-solver with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of current property legislation and compliance requirements (ARLA qualification an advantage)
Full UK driving licence (a pool car or mileage allowance is provided)
Working Hours and Benefits
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
1 in 3 Saturdays, time back in lieu
Salary 30,000 - 35,000 depending on experience
