A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to join our growing Property Management team. As a business we pride ourselves on having an enjoyable and supportive working environment.
The role will be based at our rural offices at Fonthill Bishop, however, you will be required to travel to client estates and may, as required, work remotely from and on managed estates.
About the Role:
This is an integral role within the business and will comprise of property management, letting and administration. In this wonderfully varied role, our Property Managers work closely with our land agents and their clients in the management of country estates; this includes residential, agricultural, and commercial property.
The key responsibilities of the Property Manager would be to:
Liaise with Property Tenants
Organise timely property repairs and liaise with required Contractors
Advertise lettings as required
Property lettings - prepare particulars, handle enquiries and agree terms
Prepare tenancy agreements
Negotiate rent reviews
Prepare draft estate budgets
Liaise with Estate Staff, farm managers, gamekeepers, maintenance, bookkeepers etc.
Arrange and conduct property viewings / inspections
Maintain records on our property management software including compliance and health & safety
About you:
The successful applicant will possess:
Experience of property management
ARLA Qualified or be willing to work towards
Be detail orientated
Fantastic people skills with the ability to handle queries diplomatically
Excellent communication both verbal and written
Strong administration skills
Highly IT literate with ability to learn new software
Proactive approach to client care
Professional demeanour and capability to build good rapport with clients
Confident to work independently
Excellent organisational and numeracy skills
Possess own transport
Mature outlook and confident in managing the occasional, sensitive situation
