Job Summary:
React to reports of maintenance
issues from occupants during tenancies, using a range of means to assess and implement appropriate, cost effective and timely responses, working with other team members and contractors to ensure works are completed to a high standard, whilst liaising with tenant and landlord clients.
Carry out mid-tenancy inspections
at properties, communicating and liaising with tenants and responding appropriately to any maintenance issues raised.
Planning and co-ordinating end of tenancy maintenance and cleaning
, working with other team members to ensure properties are returned to their original condition in readiness for the start of new tenancies.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Work diligently and enthusiastically alongside the Directors, Team Supervisors and other team members to achieve company targets and aims.
Be an active part of the ongoing development and expansion of the company and associated planning.
To nurture and develop new business opportunities and contacts within the local community.
Produce accurate written and oral reports when requested.
Provide a first-class service to both property owners and tenants.
Take part in any training appropriate to the position.
Develop a detailed knowledge of relevant letting legislation and work with the team to ensure the company and its responses in relation to maintenance comply.
Work to target times and communicate effectively with other staff members, tenants and property owners.
Be prepared to be a proactive team member, assisting with other duties and tasks where appropriate and necessary.
Experience, skills and attributes to include:
Ideally a background in property management.
Ideally some experience of working within property maintenance.
A willingness to carry out physical tasks at properties.
Reliable, trustworthy and act with integrity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work as part of a team but with the ability to work with minimal supervision when required
Excellent organisation, prioritisation and planning skills
Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office and Outlook
Driving licence and own vehicle
