We're looking for an experienced property manager to join our team in Liverpool City Centre. You will be responsible for helping manage a portfolio of rental properties across Liverpool, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while maintaining excellent relationships with landlords and tenants. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The hours are 9-5:30pm (with one half day on a Saturday per month - holiday in lieu for same).
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in managing a portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
Conducting regular property inspections and addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
Liaising with landlords and tenants regarding maintenance requests, rent payments, and other property-related matters.
Arranging and assisting in the necessary repairs and maintenance work, obtaining quotes and managing contractors.
Handling tenant check-ins and check-outs, including deposit administration.
Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews.
Serving notices and managing any legal processes related to tenancy agreements.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
Providing excellent customer service to both landlords and tenants.
Keeping up-to-date with current legislation and best practices in property management.
Contributing to team meetings and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Occasionally support our sales team.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in property management or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
Knowledge of relevant property legislation and regulations.
Proficiency in using property management software.
ARLA qualification (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
