The Opportunity
We're recruiting a
Property Manager
to look after a portfolio of residential properties and provide excellent day-to-day service to landlords and tenants. This role is ideal for someone with solid lettings or customer-facing experience who's ready to take the next step. You'll be supported by senior colleagues, with training provided.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a defined portfolio of properties with clear, timely communication to landlords and tenants.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with approved contractors; track progress to completion.
Arrange and record routine inspections, check-ins/check-outs, and inventories.
Handle tenancy admin (applications, references, lease docs, renewals, deposit protection).
Monitor rent collection and support early-stage arrears processes.
Maintain compliance records (e.g., Gas Safe, EICR, PAT, Legionella) with team support.
Keep accurate notes and documents in our property management system (SME Professional).
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth move-ins and great customer service.
Requirements
Ideally
1-3 years'
experience in residential lettings/property management
or
strong transferable customer service/admin experience in a fast-paced setting.
Working knowledge of Scottish PRS basics (PRT, deposit protection, notice periods) -- training provided.
Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Comfortable using property software and Microsoft 365; SME experience helpful but not essential.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are desirable.
