Role and Responsibilities:
As a Property Manager at Robert Luff & Co, you will play a pivotal role in our lettings department. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive property inspections and creating detailed reports.
Handling property maintenance issues efficiently.
Organizing and negotiating works with tenants, landlords, and contractors professionally.
Managing scheduled repairs and reactive maintenance diligently.
Coordinating and conducting check-outs and inventories proficiently.
Ensuring property compliance with relevant certifications such as EICR's, gas safety, and EPC.
Skillfully resolving deposit disputes and managing tenancy paperwork.
Assisting with the serving of section notices when necessary.
Supporting landlords with rental reviews and tenancy renewals.
Undertaking general Property Manager duties with enthusiasm.
Experience and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
Previous lettings/property management experience is advantageous.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent IT knowledge, particularly with Microsoft Office packages.
A minimum of 6 months of property management experience is required.
Strong administration skills and at least 1-2 years of experience in the letting industry are preferred.
Confident, professional, and considerate demeanour.
Ability to work independently, building and maintaining relationships with landlords and tenants.
Good understanding of Microsoft Office, reliable, and willing to work hard.
A confident and friendly telephone manner.
